NM's Own Pro-Life APD Officer Ryan Holets to Speak at RNC Tonight!
Tonight's Republican National Convention will feature Albuquerque's own pro-life hero, Officer Ryan Holets, as well as national pro-life leader Abby Johnson. Albuquerque Officer Holets has worked with APD for 9 years. In 2017, he and his wife adopted Baby Hope from a drug addicted homeless couple. When Holets came across the biological mother while on duty, he noticed she was pregnant with Baby Hope at 8 months! Watch the viral video of Officer Holets here.
"Rebecca and I are honored to represent New Mexico at the Republican National Convention," said Officer Holets. "I am excited to share our story of God's love through adoption and a call for compassion towards those afflicted by addiction. We are very grateful to the President for his efforts on both of these issues."
Officer Holets and his wife Rebecca also assisted Hope's parents with undergoing detox. Baby Hope was born with heroin and crystal meth in her system, necessitating detox for two weeks. Rebecca Holets is also a passionate pro-life adovcate who often ministers to women seeking to abort babies just like Hope at the late-term abortion up to birth clinic, Southwestern Women's Options in Albuquerque.
"What a beautiful testament the Holets family and Baby Hope represents what it means to truly be "pro-life," said Executive Director Elisa Martinez. "Rebecca and Ryan Holets are pro-life heroes for New Mexico and the nation, I am proud to know them--they are the real deal."
Additionally, former Planned Parenthood Director turned national pro-life leader, Abby Johnson, will speak this evening. Abby's life story was featured in the movie "Unplanned" which gained critical acclaim for an accurate portrayal of the inner workings of the abortion industry giant, Planned Parenthood. Abby now serves as a national spokesperson, and founder of "And Then They Were None" ministry which offers assistance to abortion clinic workers to leave the industry. ATTWN has ministered to over 600 clinic workers helping them transition out of the abortion industry, addressing their traumas and offering employment opportunities.
The RNC Convention broadcast begins tonight at 6:30 PM MDT.
