Planned Parenthood Contradicts Itself on Late-Term Abortion

Recently, “Planned Parenthood Votes New Mexico” shared a story on their Facebook page stating “there’s no such thing as ‘late-term abortion.” Nice try, Planned Parenthood, but the largest late-term abortion facility in the nation, Southwestern Women’s Options in Albuquerque actually advertises “late-term abortions” on their website: “Late Term Abortions After 32 Weeks on a Case by Case Basis." The owner of SWO, Curtis Boyd is also a founder of the National Abortion Federation and well known in the barbaric practice of abortion up-to-birth. See for yourself, Southwestern Women's Options in Albuquerque actually offers "late-term" abortions up to 32 weeks and beyond.

Don’t be deceived by Planned Parenthood’s lies about abortion.
Here are the FACTS: 

FACT: Late-term abortion is not a medical term, but is generally understood as abortion later in pregnancy after 5 months when a baby is viable. 
FACT: Abortion up-to-birth is happening 5 days a week in NM, babies are born and survive around 20 weeks or 5 months. NM allows abortions throughout pregnancy and in fact, abortionists advertise this fact to lure out-of-state patients to obtain an elective abortion up to the day of birth legally in NM. 
FACT: late-term abortion is NEVER medically necessary and that having an abortion after 21 weeks carries an 89 times greater risk of death than those performed in the first trimester.
FACT: In a true medical emergency, it is safer for a woman to undergo a C-section or induce labor, rather than intentionally kill her unborn child in dangerous a 3-6 day late-term abortion procedure.
FACT: Late-term abortions are cruel and inhumane. The procedure after 24 weeks or 6 months involves a fatal intra-cardiac injection which causes the baby to suffer a painful heart-attack up to 24 hours. 
FACT: Intra-cardiac injections are illegal and considered “inhumane,” to perform on "conscious animals" by NM statute, but legal to perform on an innocent, unborn baby.
